This Helicopter Scenic Flight offers real 'bang for your buck' in spectacular fashion. Savour our beautiful Inner Reef as Green Island, Arlington Reef and iconic Vlasoff Cay sweep below. Then fly the coast - Double Island and Palm Cove herald a climb to 3,000ft over the Range with crystal clear views of Kuranda, Barron Falls to Stoney Creek and the Great Barrier Reef shining in the distance on your return.
Tracking out towards Green Island we'll pass Cape Grafton, Mission Bay, False Cape and Mt Yarrabah. Passing Green Island, we continue our journey to the north across Arlington Reef, one of the largest reefs in the Marine Park and on to stunning Vlasoff sand cay. Departing Vlasoff we'll track over Upolu Cay and head west. Crossing the coast you'll have panoramic views over the northern beaches, Palm Cove and Double Island as we soar over the Great Dividing Range to the rainforest village of Kuranda and the amazing Barron falls cascading 850 feet down into the Barron Gorge below. After a final view of the impressive Stoney Creek Falls, we make our way back to the airport.

All scenic flights depart from Zoom Helicopters' base at Cairns General Aviation Airport (21 Bush Pilots Avenue, Aeroglen, QLD). Passengers must arrive at least 20 minutes before departure for check-in and safety briefing. What to bring: Sunglasses & sunscreen. Camera, small soft bags only. Personal items should not exceed 10 kg. Weight restrictions apply - please follow the booking form. Flight Experience: Flight options range from about 30-60 minutes, with longer flights exploring further out to the Outer Reef or combining Reef & Rainforest routes. Scenic flight paths include highlights such as Green Island, Arlington Reef, Vlasoff Cay, Upolu Cay and coastal views near Cairns. Some longer flight options also show rainforest features, the Great Dividing Range, Barron Gorge & Falls, Kuranda and Northern Beaches.
